Elena,
I am also learning how stress affects our skin too. It makes sense that what we put in our bodies affect the skin but I was amazed at how much stress affects how our skin looks. There is so much correlation between the two that there's a field, albeit still very small, called Psycho-dermatology. These are psychology trained dermatologists who investigates how patient's stress manifests in their skin ailments. These doctors train their patients in managing stress as part of the regimen. This is very interesting as my kids' stress level definitely changed as they grew into teen years with increased stress with school, emotional changes, hormonal changes, and their sports playing. So this is a fascinating discovery to me. In addition to watching foods they eat, we are also trying to manage their stress too.

I am encouraged by the support I received from so many readers who shared their stories as you did. The comments helped in going forward and staying on course. So we can't "fall of the wagon" - sort of speak.

Karen, Thank you for such a great insight into your personal life. Eczema and allergies are topics that touch more and more families lately. Over the last several years we have learned so much about the links between the foods we eat and allergies. I look forward to learning from you and sharing our journey.

XO
