The Shop

One of the top complaints that I hear from women who are interested in learning about the world of non-toxic beauty is that they are overwhelmed and just don’t know where

to start making changes. I think that any change can be overwhelming, but when it comes to changing long-standing brand habits and simply getting used to the way we do things when it comes to our “look” there is even more of a struggle.

On my own path from using commercial brand makeup brands which STILL  include known unsafe ingredients, I had growing pains as well. I wish I had a place like Nature Of Beauty to help me in my journey. The Nature Of Beauty buying guide is an amazing resource that can help you transform your makeup bag into a lovely shade of green without any pain.

From choosing lipstick to finding gluten free and vegan brands, the NOB Buying Guide will walk you through with love and care. You can even e-mail questions directly to their experts and get a quick informative response.

The Scoop

Here is some wonderful information about Nature of Beauty from Terri Bly, the incredible founder (and fellow EcoDiva) of Nature of Beauty:

The Nature of Beauty, LTD was founded by clinical psychologist, women’s health advocate, and beauty product junkie, Dr. Terri Bly. For years, Bly had been sharing the latest in health research with her patients and clients. In 2008, she made the decision to combine her passions – mental health, physical health, advocacy for women, and business – into one entity: The Nature of Beauty.

I’ve been wanting to update my haircolor (it’s getting a little drab it seems) so I’d love to do it with organic products so I’d get the Logona Herbal Hair Color Cream – Copper Blonde and then follow with the Rare El’ements Replenishing Essential Conditioner!
My burning question is are there organic hair highlighting supplies! I’d love to just highlight my hair but I hate the chemical ones that I find!

On my shopping spree I know I would buy Keys Luminos Hydrating Moisturizer because it is one of my favorites and I would try all of the Sante Face and Body Butters!
My burning question is are there any natural products for my teen son to use on his face and beard?

I love body scrubs so the
Galen Labs Dead Sea Salts Body Scrub would definitely be on my list!! I also like the spa experience at home so face masks make me happy!! I would totally purchase the Dr. Alkaitis Organic Universal Mask!
My question is I have very sensitive skin mostly my face. It breaks out if I ever put lotion on it and in the winter months or if i get a tan I like to moisturize. I have tried soo many different kinds of lotions. What ingredients should I stay away from/look for to keep my face from breaking out but moisturize as needed?
My email is accounts@thegreenbeagle.com!
Thanx
Morgan

I am trying hard to switch over completely to natural products and want to so that with my hair color so I would try this Logona Herbal Hair Color – Golden Blonde and, because I am a natural perfume fanatic, I would also buy Florascent Aqua Composita – Umami.

My question would be: “What is the best way to color your hair with this natural color at home?” I have never used a natural coloring kit.

I’ve been wanting to find great organic makeup brands I can wear on-camera. I would definitely purchase the Couleur Caramel Lipstick in raspberry and the Jane Iredale Bling Eyeshadow Kit.

One question I have is that I’ve been hearing that mineral powder can be dangerous vs. pressed powder (something about particles getting into your lungs?) Do you know anything about what products we should stay away from?

I would definitely get Galen Labs Dead Sea Salts Body Scrub & Keys Luminos Hydrating Moisturizer .

My burning question: Is there a natural way to remove sun spots? I have some left from my pregnancy with my daughter and I’m nervous about using chemical products.
